Girls’ Generation Taeyeon’s Contract Renewal Update With SM Triggers Backlash
It has been confirmed that Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will continue her relationship with SM Entertainment, the company she has been with since her debut.

We are happy to be working with our precious artist Taeyeon once again, building on the trust and bond established over many years. We will continue to provide support to Taeyeon so she can shine even brighter as a global artist.

Taeyeon debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007 and made her solo debut in 2015, releasing many hit songs including “I,” “Spark,” “INVU,” and more.
Most recently, she celebrated her 10th solo debut anniversary by releasing her first compilation album, Panorama: The Best of TAEYEON.
However, news of her contract renewal garnered much criticism from fans.
