Golden Child’s Bomin To Undergo Surgery For Facial Fracture

Get well soon, Bomin.

Golden Child‘s Bomin to undergo surgery after being hit in the face with a wood golf club (a type of golf club with longer shafts and larger, rounded heads than other club types), resulting in a fracture.

In a statement posted on the group’s Weverse page, Woollim Entertainment shared Bomin’s diagnosis.

Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment.

First of all, we would like to share some sudden and unfortunate news to the fans who have always shown their love and support for Golden Child.

On the afternoon of September 28, Bomin was hit in the face with a wood golf club that another person was using during a practice session for one of Bomin’s personal schedules. We immediately proceeded with emergency treatment and a detailed examination.

According to the medical staff’s diagnosis, surgery was recommended for his facial fracture, and we are currently coordinating a date for the surgery.

Following the doctor’s recommendation that Bomin should undergo rehabilitation following the surgery, Bomin will focus on treatment and recovery for the time being.

Therefore, it will be difficult for him to participate in Golden Child’s schedules for the time being and we will inform you of his return to activities in the future.

We would like to apologize again for causing concern to so many fans who have worried over these sudden news.

We will do our best to make Bomin’s treatment and health our top priority to help him recover.

Thank you.
