GOT7‘s Jackson has shocked fans after revealing just how long he’s known BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo.
On February 7 (local time), Jackson and Jisoo wowed netizens with their visuals after they attended an event in Paris for Cartier.
While both idols looked stunning, it was their interaction that shook the internet. When they both entered together, they started chatting to each other and giving fans the second BLACKPINK x GOT7 crumbs of the year.
Even as they said goodbye and went to their own seats, there was a surprising closeness that couldn’t have just been from mutual activities as idols.
When the videos came out, netizens were curious about how long they’d known each other. In particular, they seemed to be surprisingly comfortable around each other, especially considering this was one of the first direct interactions away from idol life.
Many thought the friendship could be from when Jisoo MC’d with GOT7’s Jinyoung and NCT‘s Doyoung.
On February 9, a new article was released with quotes from those attending the Cartier event, including Jackson.
In the interview, Jackson spoke about what the event was like, and considering his status as a social butterfly, it wasn’t surprising that he found it fun. In particular, he spoke about interacting with Jisoo and just how long they’ve known each other.
It was super chill. And with Jisoo – we’ve known each other since we were 16 and it’s been a long time since we had caught up. But yeah, I mean, it was fun. It didn’t really feel like work.

When the interview was posted, netizens were shocked at just how long they’ve known each other. In particular, the interview revealed that Jisoo and Jackson have known each other since before either GOT7 or BLACKPINK debuted.
