GOT7’s Mark Tuan Fills In For Jay B On Radio Show And Reveals That The Members Have Reunited

Now, can we get that comeback?

At this time, all GOT7 members are back in South Korea, making Ahgases hopefully of a full group comeback soon!

Since the group’s members departed from JYP Entertainment last year, GOT7’s Mark Tuan had moved back home to California and signed with Creative Artists Agency LLC. Since then, he has released singles such as “My Life” and “Last Breath.” Now, he’s back in Korea!

Naturally, Mark’s return gave Ahgases hope that GOT7 is, in fact, having a group comeback soon. Not only that but BamBam has teased it so much!

So, it came as a shock to Ahgases when GOT7 leader Jay B spilled the tea that he found out about Mark’s return to Korea like most of us did… through social media.

On Wednesday, March 9, Jay B was hosting KBS Cool FM‘s STATION Z JAY B’s R&B when a listener requested, “Leave a message for Mark as he is in Korea.” He agreed to the fan’s request but, in doing so, revealed the shocking news…

Ha… Mark-ya. How long has it been? You’re here in Korea, but you didn’t even tell me you were coming to Korea. I found out that you were in Korea through social media.

— Jay B

Jay B claimed that he had not been told in advance by Mark that he was returning. Instead, he found out through social media.

Aren’t we friends? I… Nevermind. It’s okay. Just, well, it’s nothing much, it’s just a little… I’m just a little upset.

— Jay B

Jay B teasingly reprimanded Mark and promised he wouldn’t stay upset for long despite being “hurt.”

Well, I’ll feel better once time has passed. Right? Nah, nah, nah, I’m not a petty person like that. Well, I do hold grudges a little, but I’m not exactly that type of person.

— Jay B

Additionally, he noted Mark’s affinity for kimchi jjigae (stew). So, he mentioned the possibility of eating it together…

Ha, Mark-ya. Now that you’re in Korea, I hope that you eat the kimchi jjigae that you’re always talking about.

— Jay B

…but remembered that Mark had not contacted him, so he must not care to meet up during his stay.

In any case, you’re not gonna meet me. Right? Looking at how you didn’t tell me… Seems like you have no intention of meeting me.

— Jay B

Jay B continued to tease Mark in his message, even going so far as to imply their years of friendship were over as a result.

If you were gonna get caught via social media in any case, I don’t know why you wouldn’t tell me in advance, it’s upsetting. Mark… It was good. All the memories I had with you were good. Be well.

— Jay B

Still, Jay B clearly wanted to reunite. So, he gave Mark one last chance…

Well, if you want to meet me, let’s meet once. But I don’t if I’ll see you, I could be busy. Fighting.

— Jay B

Mark quickly cleared his name! Shortly after, he refuted Jay B’s allegations against him, confirming Ahgases’ theories that it was all just a joke. Mark pulled out the receipts and revealed on Instagram that he had actually contacted the GOT7 group chat and expressed a desire to still meet up with Jay B.

I sent this text as soon as I arrived…
I know you’re busy but please meet me…

While we have yet to see these two meet up as yet, we got some crumbs… On Wednesday, March 23, Mark appeared as a special guest DJ on the same show Jay B had teasingly “slandered” him on, KBS Cool FM‘s STATION Z JAY B’s R&B.

Ahgases initially hoped that Mark’s appearance on Jay B’s radio show meant a reunion. Yet, Mark was just filling in for Jay B. He hadn’t spoken Korean for a while, so he was nervous at first. Nevertheless, since he has been in Korea for two weeks, he is getting more comfortable again.

Our leader JAY B isn’t here due to personal circumstances. I’m speaking in Korean after a while today so I’m nervous. Jaebeom-ah, don’t worry too much. I’ll do well!

While we didn’t get to witness Jay B and Mark together, he did reassure Ahgases that he’s been meeting with members.

I’ve been spending time and met the members. I met Jaebeom yesterday too, so don’t worry too much!

A fan asked what he missed most about Korea. He expressed that he misses the members most while away.

I miss the members and spending time with them.. And Korean food!

Jay B had previously mentioned how much Mark loves kimchi jjigae. Still, Mark hasn’t had any! After quarantine, he ate McDonald’s.

Mark also once again addressed Jay B’s claims against him. He remains confused why Jay B claimed that he hadn’t messaged.

I tried explaining on SNS. I posted in the group chat, and Jaebeom even replied to me! I don’t get why he said that on radio.

Mark has released his new single, “Lonely.” He shared that the members have all heard it and love the song.

The members have heard it. They liked it so I felt really good. Jackson and BamBam said ‘Lonely’ is the best out of my songs.

There were lots of GOT7 crumbs throughout the broadcast. Mark expressed a desire for a GOT7 concert and teased that there’s something he wishes to reveal when asked for a TMI…

GOT7? There’s no TMI! Well, there’s one that I want to say but… yeah!

— Mark Tuan via @withyoumarktuan/Twitter

Of course, he also introduced himself as GOT7’s Mark!

And, we got the return of Mark’s super sexy aegyo!

It didn’t end there, though. KBS Cool FM‘s STATION Z has been feeding Ahgases well with lots of Mark Tuan content on Instagram.

We have Mark selfies for days…

Mark is so loving; he took time responding to Ahgases and writing a letter.

Ahgases, we are so spoiled today!

Let’s just hope that next time we can see DJ Jay B and Mark together again!
