Han Dong Chul PD To Create Male Version Of Idol Survival Program “My Teenage Girl”

MBC idol survival program My Teenage Girl PD Han Dong Chul will reportedly be creating a male version of the show.

According to an exclusive report from Tenasia, Han Dong Chul PD will be taking lead for the production of the male version of MBC’s idol survival program My Teenage Girl. Broadcast for the show is expected to take place in the early part of 2023.

My Teenage Girl was an idol survival program that set out to discover girls from around the world who dreamed of debuting in a girl group, and the show aimed to create a girl group that would be able to challenge the Billboard charts. During the first season of the show, (G)I-DLE‘s Soyeon, HOOK‘s Aiki, Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri, and Ock Joo Hyun participated as the four mentors.

MBC has yet to officially comment on the production of season 2 with male participants.
