5th-Gen Girl Group Member Says She Could Have Made Her TV Debut Way Earlier

On JTBC‘s Knowing Bros, Hearts2Hearts member Ian shared that her actual TV debut could have been You Quiz On The Block with comedian Yoo Jae Suk instead of SM Entertainment‘s girl group.

In the latest episode of the beloved show, Ian revealed, “I had so much energy that I couldn’t hold it in, so I even tried being a YouTuber and did mukbangs.” And that energy landed her on You Quiz On The Block.

She explained, “At the time, they were going around the neighborhood doing interviews. I even answered a quiz correctly and won prize money.”

To Ian’s disappointment, the segment got completely edited out of the on-air version of the show—and all there is left to prove is a photo with the show hosts. Fortunately for us, though, SM Entertainment also saw her potential and sent her a DM on Instagram to cast her as a trainee!
