Here’s What the Baby From Reply 1988 Is Up to Now, 10 Years Later!

Remember the adorable little girl from Reply 1988? Child actress Kim Seol, who stole hearts as the youngest member of the Ssangmun-dong squad, Jinjoo, is all grown up now — and thriving both in and out of the spotlight.

On July 28, 2025, a photo was shared to Kim Seol’s Instagram Story, showing the now-14-year-old receiving a commendation for being a model student at school. Though there was no caption, the image spoke volumes — especially since it comes just in time for the drama’s 10th anniversary.

Kim Seol, who recently entered middle school, is proving to be just as impressive offscreen. Within just two weeks of starting the school year, she was elected class president. She’s also been active in gifted education programs, having completed a talent development course in 2021 and attending its opening ceremony again this March.

While she hasn’t taken on any major acting roles since her appearances in the 2017 film Ayla and the 2022 project Sing Again, Choir, fans shouldn’t assume she’s left the entertainment world for good. Last November, Kim Seol posted a behind-the-scenes photo from musical rehearsals, reminding everyone that her love for performing is still very much alive.
