HYBE Girl Group’s Latest Album Massively Disappoints… Even Their Own Fans

It’s not looking good.

LE SSERAFIM dropped “CELEBRATE” not long ago, and it’s already had a rough ride.

The song drew immediate backlash from K-Pop fans who accused HYBE of copying BLACKPINK‘s “Jump,” as both tracks lean into EDM territory.

Now, the group has followed up with what’s being called a remix mini album. And it’s made things worse.

The tracklist of the EP — released not even 24 hours after “CELEBRATE” — contains a sped-up version, a slowed and reverb version, an instrumental, and a karaoke track. Fans were quick to point out that none of these are actual remixes, and the lack of effort has sparked heated reactions.

Sped-up and slowed reverb edits have become standard streaming filler at this point, and karaoke versions are hardly new. Even supporters of the group aren’t defending this one.

On top of the disappointment, some netizens are raising a more pointed concern: that the release is a chart manipulation tactic, designed to boost streams across multiple entries rather than offer anything of real value.

Netizen opinions aside, even LE SSERAFIM’s own fanbase isn’t holding back…

What are your thoughts? Are these legitimate remixes, or is HYBE dropping the ball? Let us know your thoughts in the comments on social media.
