HYBE Idol Admits To Fighting Group Mate Before And After Debut 

KATSEYE‘s Megan and Yoonchae recently revealed some stories from around the time they debuted.

During a live stream, Megan and Yoonchae chatted with fans and each other, with the topic of their supposed beef coming up. The pair surprisingly were open about it, admitting that when they first started Dream Academy, Yoonchae spoke with Megan more often than others.

Megan then says that she “started becoming “a b*tch, taking full responsibility and admitting that she was “very stressed.” The pair stated that the issues began before they debuted while they were preparing “Debut,” with Yoonchae even confronting her at one point.

Megan: She’s like, she goes ‘Megan, can I talk to you?’ and I’m like ‘yeah.’ […] So, she goes, ‘Megan, are you mad at me?’ and I was like ‘No.”
Megan: *laughs*
Yoonchae: She was like ‘No, I’m just, just kind of stressed.’ 

Sophia ended up getting in the middle of everything as Yoonchae also confided in her about the “beef,” which Megan admitted to feeling bad over. 

The pair said that the beef came in waves, but they never resorted to fist-fighting, instead finding that the fighting actually brought them closer together. 

Megan admitted that she was truly angry over other things and that the minor things that Yoonchae would do would set her off. They stated that they had not had any altercations in “a while,” and that the group works out conflicts with each other.
