HYBE Clarifies Official Position Regarding KATSEYE’s Manon, Fans Baffled
Manon‘s future in KATSEYE has just gotten all the more uncertain after HYBE expressed its stance on the issue.
In late February, Manon suddenly went on a hiatus, and the label cited her health condition as the reason. However, the singer herself followed up with a personal statement that contradicted the official position.

The confusion about Manon’s future in the group sprang from there and continued to grow as conversations about possible mistreatment and discord among the members emerged. Recently, after KATSEYE’s new music video teaser for “Pinky Up” dropped with no trace of Manon, the singer removed the group’s name from her Instagram bio, sparking further speculations.

Manon then addressed the matter directly, reassuring fans that she was still in talks with the group’s label.
Following the confusion, The Korea Herald published a report stating that it had reached out to HYBE for clarification. However, the company refused to comment on the ongoing speculations about Manon’s departure.
At the same time, HYBE also confirmed that Manon would participate in the upcoming Coachella performance of KATSEYE in California on April 11.
This confirmation has only made the situation more confusing for fans. Many felt that the entire fiasco was just a PR stunt, while others theorized that it might be Manon’s last performance with the group.
