The X account for McDonald’s Japan had been teasing a special collaboration with a nine member group, sparking speculations among Japanese netizens but worry from international fans amid the boycott.
On December 10 (local time), it was announced that a collaboration of a “Christmas party” between McDonalds and &TEAM was taking place, with it being supported by Coca-Cola.
