Idol-Turned-Actress Admits She Broke Up With Former Boyfriend Over Kissing Technique

Actress and former After School member Lee Joo Yeon, has become a hot topic after candidly sharing her dating experiences on the July 22 episode of SBS‘s variety show Dolsing Four Men.

Lee, who appeared on the show as a guest, talked about her take on relationships unfiltered, including her current dating scenario. The actress admitted that she was unsure even a year ago if she could spend her whole life with just one man, but now, felt otherwise. “I haven’t dated a crazy number of guys, but I think I’ve had enough variety to know what I want,” she cheekily confessed.

During one point of the episode, Lee Sang Min asked her about the rumor that her first criterion for dating someone was if she could imagine herself kissing that person. Lee Joo Yeon responded immediately saying yes. “I think it might even be my top priority,” she added.

She then shared the wild story of a past breakup because of this priority of hers. Lee recalled that she had once called it quits with a boyfriend because his kissing technique wasn’t right.

I actually broke up with a boyfriend because of kissing. I liked him at first, so we started dating, but the kiss just didn’t feel right. We had already decided to be together, but it just wasn’t working.

She proceeded to give more details about the physical chemistry between her and this former boyfriend when actor Choi Jin Hyuk, who was sitting next to her, quickly interrupted with a “Hey! That’s enough!” and ended up making everyone burst into laughter.

The actress reflected on her changed outlook toward dating, reveakung that she didn’t like going to clubs anymore and found it bothersome to even step out. “I’ve had my fun,” she added.
