A former I-LAND contestant is in hot water after allegedly choosing a fandom name.

Daniel, now known as Kyu, sparked heated reactions following a tweet addressing his fans.

In a new tweet, he called his fans “kyuties” in reference to his name. However, this immediately sparked backlash.

Many people took issue with this as the subfandom of TREASURE‘s Kim Junkyu is referred to as “Kyuties.”
