He allegedly copied from other idols and their departure letters.

After much speculation, Woollim Entertainment and L (Kim Myungsoo) confirmed that he would be leaving the company. To address the fans directly, L posted a hand-written letter to Instagram.

INFINITE’s L Accused Of Plagiarising Parts Of Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun’s Company Departure Letter

As fans further analyzed his departure letter, they found more lines copied from other idols’ letters to fans.

Each highlighted section is from a different idol. Mint refers to lines copied from Bang Yongguk (former B.A.P), orange refers to Lee Gaeun (former After School), pink refers to Yookyung (former AOA), Green refers to Jimin (former 15&), blue relates to Hoya (former INFINITE), and yellow refers to Seohyun. People noticed how the lines were directly lifted, only changed to refer to Woollim or INFINITE.

Her is the lines he allegedly took from Bang Yongguk’s letter. This letter was written to announce his withdrawal from the group after he chose not to renew his contract with the agency.

I would like to bow my head and apologize for delivering such regretful news.

And:

It is difficult for me to put into words how the B.A.P members and BABY’s have me strength from my debut until now.

Here are the lines he allegedly took from Lee Gaeun. She wrote this letter after news broke out that she would be leaving Pledis Entertainment, thus graduating from After School.

Also, I want to thank everyone for cheering me warmly. The time spent with the fans after debuting with After School felt like a dream and it was a joyful time.

Here are the lines he allegedly took from Yookyung. She wrote this letter after withdrawing from FNC Entertainment and AOA.

My heart feels a bit heavy because I don’t know if this news will bring sadness.

Here are the lines he allegedly stole from Jimin. She wrote this letter after it was announced that she was be leaving JYP Entertainment.

For these long 7 years – middle school, high school, and up to adulthood – I felt, I learned, and I grew up a lot by being in JYP.

And finally, here is the line he allegedly stole from Hoya. He wrote this letter after news broke out that he would not be renewing his contract with Woollim Entertainment and would be leaving INFINITE.

People are upset with how many different artists he allegedly copied from, saying that it shows how insincere he is and how he doesn’t care for the fans. Additionally, many believe that it would have been faster had he just written his letter instead of taking from others.
