During Jennie’s attendance at Coachella 2026, the idol appeared in a video with influencer Harry Daniels. Daniels is a social media influencer best known for approaching celebrities in public and singing their own songs back to them, in ways meant to be awkward.

The video went viral, and was reposted, as many of his clips usually do.

However, Jennie was targeted with body shaming, specifically mentioning her feet. Not long after, the video was deleted from social media and accusations that Jennie’s team forced him to remove it began to circulate online.

In a video from his podcast, Daniels addressed the speculation, first mentioning that Jennie’s manager did ask if the video would be sent to Revolve first for approval. Daniels explained that he is usually fully in control of what he posts, so he disregarded the question and posted anyways.

He said that about a day after, he got a message asking him to remove the video, to which he said he was “heartbroken” over. However, in order to not mess with the working relationships between Jennie and Revolve, and out of respect, he went ahead and deleted it.

Daniels added that it was an out of the ordinary situation and that he usually was able to post as he pleased.

Though he explained that he was willing to go with their request, many have criticized Jennie and her team.

However, it has also been pointed out that the situation could have been avoided had he listened to the request to get the video approved first.
