Meet The New And Adorable Characters Created By ITZY In Collaboration With Line Friends

In collaboration with LINE Friends, ITZY recently designed their own characters. Check out the initial rough sketches of their designs and see what inspired their characters!

1. Yeji — “Het”

She chose the name “Het” since it sounds similar to “Cat.”

Het went through many design changes, including its charming point of charismatic eyes!

2. Lia — “Lya”

I wanted my character to be a tree sloth similar to me that can give happiness and bright energy to others.

Lya is described as having a very relaxed personality and loves sweets so much, it carries around a donut named “Juling” (the combination of Julia and Darling!).

3. Ryujin — “Tuk”

You know how I usually don’t open my eyes all the way? … I wanted to make a character similar to me so I drew the eyes like this.

Tuk is a monkey wearing a hoodie with loveable big ears.

4. Chaeryeong — “Chung-ee”

It is a smart and resolute type. It looks cold on the outside but is warm on the inside.

— Chaeryeong

Despite being based on a 900-year-old nine-tailed fox, Chung-ee is still very trendy and loves iced americano!

5. Yuna — “Cabbit”

Yuna chose the name “Cabbit” since her character is a rabbit wearing a cat costume.

It’s cloud friend, Moong-gae, allows it to travel wherever it wants to go.
