In his recent Instagram update, Queen of Tears actor Kim Soo Hyun boasted his long-standing friendship with singer-and-actress IU.

Their friendship is said to have sparked when the two starred in Dream High together in 2011. Since then, Kim Soo Hyun has been dubbed to be one of IU’s “besties.”

Under the posted photo, the singer commented, “Only I didn’t know you posted this on Instagram,” and both Kim Soo Hyun and IU fans immediately recognized this to be IU hinting at the viral video of Kim Soo Hyun at IU’s concert.

The video, circulated via X (former Twitter), is said to have captured Kim Soo Hyun screaming the title of IU’s song, “Only I Didn’t Know,” at the top of his lungs when IU asked the audience for encore suggestions.
