IU and BTS’s Suga Announce Surprise Collaboration Single

What a collaboration.

IU has just announced she will be making her comeback soon, and she will work with BTS‘s Suga on her comeback song.

IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, revealed details about IU’s surprise comeback announcement. This comeback marks IU’s first song release since her Love poem mini album, which came out in November 2019.

IU will release a digital single on May 6 and also release a music video for the song.

It has been made known that IU already finished filming the music video for the song, and actively participated in the production of the track, including in composition and lyrics, as well as the overall concept for the single, which is in the final stages of preparation for release.

In particular, IU’s new song is a collaboration between herself and BTS’s Suga. The two worked together to deliver a different feeling and style of music compared to her past releases. Suga assisted in the creation of the song. It is not entirely clear whether Suga assisted only in the production, or if he will also feature in the song.

The two were able to sympathize and share their opinions together as 93 liners and musicians, and incorporated that intlo their music.
