IU Reveals Which Two Co-Stars Showed Up To Her Grandfather’s Funeral, Proving Their True Friendship
In the latest episode of MBC‘s I Live Alone, idol-actress IU revealed the two hoobae actors who stood by her side when it mattered most!
The episode showed IU reunite with actors Yoo Soo Bin and Lee Yeon, Perfect Crown co-stars who had become close friends. What started as a lighthearted meal quickly turned meaningful as IU reflected on a difficult time in her life.
IU shared that the two actors were among the very few friends who attended her grandfather’s funeral, something that left a lasting impression not only on her but also on her family.

She went on to recall a small but heartfelt gesture that meant a lot during the exhausting period of mourning. Both Yoo Soo Bin and Lee Yeon brought chocolate to the funeral, with Yoo Soo Bin even preparing a variety pack in a zip bag. “It might seem like a simple thing, but it gave us so much strength,” IU said, explaining how the thoughtful gesture comforted her family while they were grieving.
