However, on January 28, Starship Entertainment spoke out regarding the speculation of Jang Wonyoung owning her own brand.
“Regarding FOREVER: CHERRY, we would like to inform you that it is a brand collaboration project and not Jang Wonyoung’s personal business.
Regarding the recent trademark registration, the name deeply reflects the artist’s unique identity and image. Therefore, to prevent third-party commercial use after the project concludes, we have agreed with the brand to file and apply under her name.”

The general scope of the registration is part of a proactive response to prevent the misuse of the artist’s image across various business units and to fully preserve Jang Wonyoung’s unique value by prioritizing her rights and interests.
