IVE’s Jang Wonyoung Shocks Fans By Accidentally Giving A Huge “Spoiler” — But There’s An Unexpected Plot Twist
It seems like everything IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung does has become a hot topic! But the idol has recently gained attention after her reaction to giving a spoiler… but there’s a hilarious plot twist!
Since debuting, Jang Wonyoung has always gained attention for her talent, visuals, and unreal stage presence.
However, aside from her visuals, Jang Wonyoung also has the most wholesome personality. Recently, she gained attention after her unexpected reaction to giving fans a spoiler for the group’s upcoming album.
IVE recently shocked netizens with their pre-release track, “Kitsch.” Despite mixed reviews on the line distribution, fans love the video and the new concept for the group.
Ahead of the actual release, IVE sat down and chatted about what to expect from the album. Out of nowhere, Wonyoung suddenly said, “11 songs will be released.” After gasping, Wonyoung’s face dropped as Gaeul joked, “You said it so confidently.”
It seems like IVE thought they shared a spoiler, but after Liz asked if it was okay to say this, Leeseo confirmed that it was okay, and Liz agreed. She explained, “Didn’t this come out already?”
After it seemed like the members confirmed it didn’t, the members then tried to play damage control by trying to confuse fans.
Yujin: Everyone, our album will have 15 track
Liz: We have 20 tracks
Wonyoung then tried to help by saying, “I reacted this way because I was wrong (about saying there are 11 songs).”
The members continued to confuse fans and while Yujin said it was okay, Rei explained that there are a lot of songs and Gaeul added, “But (it’s alright) since they don’t know the contents (of the song).”
To quickly avert from what they’d done, Wonyoung suddenly said “goodbye” as they all hilariously started apologizing.
When the video was posted, netizens couldn’t get over the members’ reactions to what Wonyoung had done.

Yet, the plot twist was that Wonyoung didn’t actually spoil the album. Articles have already been released which revealed that IVE’s new album would have 12 new songs. So while Jang Wonyoung and the members tried to hide the spoilers, the announcement was already made… and was different from what they spoiled!

While DIVEs can’t wait to hear the full album, it will be interesting to see who is right and whether the members realize that they probably spoiled the wrong thing!
