IVE Shares “HEYA” Challenge Preview, But The Choreography Fails To Impress

“The concept is crazy, but the choreography is disappointing.”

We’re only a few days away from the release of IVE‘s new album, IVE SWITCH, which is set to come out on April 29. The group has been teasing the album along with its title track, “HEYA”, building excitement among fans for this highly anticipated release.

This is their first comeback of 2024, coming about a half-year after their last album, I’ve Mine, came out in October last year. And the teasers so far have been gorgeous, which is to be expected from a girl group as beautiful and talented, and with such elegant concepts, as IVE!

Yesterday, the members released a teaser video for the challenge that will accompany “HEYA”, showcasing what appears to be the point choreography of the dance. However, while fans are overall enjoying the song preview as well as the beautiful outfits, the choreography has been met with criticism.

In particular, it seems that the “circle” part of the dance is being questioned by some, while others just find the choreography a bit lackluster and boring. You can see it for yourself below.
