IVE Wonyoung’s Instagram Post Linked To NewJeans (NJZ) Danielle’s Contract Termination
Ever since the news of ADOR terminating Danielle’s contract and not allowing her to return to NewJeans dropped, it’s all K-Pop fans have been able to talk about.
With most of the industry remaining tight lipped on the situation, a recent post by IVE’s Wonyoung has raised eyebrows.
Wonyoung’s first post of 2026 contained a multitude of cherries. Not only in the photos attached…
But the caption and the song chosen to accompany the post — Kali Uchis’ “Cherry On Top” — were linked to the fruit.
Cherries are widely associated with NewJeans’ Danielle. In the past, the idol mispronounced the word in a clip that went viral.

As a result, considering the timing of Wonyoung’s post as well, many are linking the IVE star’s Instagram post to Danielle and interpreting it as a show of support from Wonyoung’s side.
