Exposed By The Ex: Popular Teen Actress Accused of Ghosting Rapper Boyfriend After Borrowing Money From His Parents
Best known for her role in the 2014 hit K-Drama Jang Bori Is Here!, actress Kim Ji Young (born 2005) is one of the most active and sought-after teen talents hailing from Korea. However, as of the 2023 Lunar New Year, she has been accused of ghosting her ex-boyfriend after owing him over ₩10.0 million KRW (about $8,120 USD).
Korean rapper ACHILLO, known for his appearances in Show Me The Money seasons 8, 9, and 11 as a former STARSHIP ENTERTAINMENT trainee, uploaded a series of Instagram posts and stories exposing the actress of the same age.
In his claims, ACHILLO said that he had been keeping private “the things [Kim Ji Young] has done to [his] family.” He said that, after careful consideration though, he decided to take the matter public because he couldn’t stand to see her on television.
The rapper claimed that his parents spent a large sum while helping Kim Ji Young find shelter from the abuse she suffered from her parents at the time. With the financial support of the rapper’s parents funding the rent and utilities, the actress is said to have gained independence—though the rapper admitted that he was living with her.
I wasn’t going to make this public. But after thinking about it for six months, I’ve decided to share. Kim Ji Young and I used to live together. She was battling abuse from her parents. So, despite having pre-existing debts, my parents took out additional loans to help her find housing. My parents paid the rent for her, too, of course.
But one day, she left without a trace. She told me that she was now in a relationship with @kkimjinsol and that I shouldn’t get in touch with her anymore. She promised that she’d take care of the financial situation that she’s involved in [with my family]. But I haven’t heard from her since.

ACHILLO claimed that the relationship ended abruptly when the actress started seeing someone else and tried to cut ties with him. According to ACHILLO, his parents are still working overtime despite declining health because Kim Ji Young has not returned the “borrowed amount,” or the loan that the parents took out to support the actress.
My father barely gets four hours of sleep each day because he’s still trying to recover from the money he spent for her. Even though he’s throwing up all the time [due to exhaustion], he’s chauffeuring to make ends meet. My mother, too. I hate seeing irresponsible people on the television. I’ll delete everything once she pays us back.

ACHILLO also shared pictures of an orange cat—said to have been adopted, and then abandoned by the actress during the breakup.
About the cat: She brought this cat home but when she left, she told me to take care of it. She promised that she’ll pay the penalty fee for giving up the adoption and then just abandoned us. Right now, the cat is living with my parents, receiving great care. When she left us, she told me that she deserves to be irresponsible for once, too. How does that even make sense?

The rapper clarified that he is asking for at least ₩1.80 million KRW (about $1,460 USD) back from the actress: While Kim Ji Young owes him far more, he would like at least the lease termination fee and the adoption penalties back.

How come you’re playing us dirty like this? Ji Young, you said you’d also give me ₩800,000 KRW (about $650 USD) for giving up the cat adoption. You’re the one who told me that you’ll take care of the financial situation. Remember? Don’t even think about backing out of it now, I’ll ask KakaoTalk to retrieve our conversation records if I have to. I know that we shared the place, so I’ll split the lease termination fee with you. Send me ₩1.00 million KRW (about $812 USD) for that and the ₩800,000 KRW (about $650 USD) for the cat. Or you can find me at the police station.
ACHILLO also shared a picture from March 2022, explaining that Kim Ji Young’s parents assaulted him and accused his parents of kidnapping the actress—which eventually led to his parents taking the active role in helping the actress out.
On March 10, 2022, Kim Ji Young’s parents came to my parents’ house and accused us of kidnapping her. Not only did they talk nonsense, but they also assaulted me. I didn’t even report them to the police, though. Ji Young was dragged back home. A week later, she escaped and we helped her out with housing. So I’m absolutely going to have her pay me back for this.

In addition to the claims being made against Kim Ji Young herself, ACHILLO accused the actress’s new boyfriend, Kim Jin Sol, of owing money as well. He shared Instagram DMs from “fellow victims” who lost contact with both Kim Jin Sol and Kim Ji Young—suggesting that the actress has potentially done the same to multiple acquaintances.

Following the tell-all exposé, both the actress and the rappers are receiving mixed reactions from the public via Instagram comments. Some were quick to snap at the actress, demanding that she sorts it out with ACHILLO as soon as possible. Others questioned the rapper and the validities of his statements, pointing out that both sides of the stories must be heard.
Regardless, the situation remains unresolved as Kim Ji Young has not responded to the claims made in the past 24 hours.
