Ji Suk Jin‘s (also known as Jee Seok Jin) mother, Kim Yi Ja, passed away in the early hours of the 24th due to old age.
The funeral parlor has been set up at Asan Medical Center in Seoul, and the funeral will be held at 8am KST on the 26th. The burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon. Ji Suk Jin is listed as the chief mourner along with his wife Yoo Soo Jung and their son Ji Hyun Woo.
Ji Suk Jin debuted in 1992 with the first album I Know and passed the KBS special recruitment as part of the 10th class of comedians the following year.
Ji Suk Jin currently appears on SBS’s Running Man, among other TV and web variety shows.
