Jung Joon Young’s Restaurant Launch In France Canceled In Light Of Recent Scandal

Plans fell through.

Jung Joon Young‘s plans for opening a Korean restaurant in France has reportedly been foundered in light of his recent sex scandal.

According to affiliated persons, the restaurant had previously held a 2-week pop-up event.  At the time, it was well accepted in France and became a big issue in Korea as it was reported that Jung Joon Young would be working with talented Michelin 1 star Korean chefs. As a result, Jung Joon Young had been planning for an official launch of the restaurant.

The initial plan was to hold a 2-week pop-up event through short-term rent, rather than an “official launch”. Professional chefs participated in the event and visited for the 2 weeks.
