Jungkook’s Hometown Thanks ARMY For Generous Birthday Donations

Fans are helping youths in need, in honor of Jungkook.

Jungkook‘s hometown of Buk-gu, Busan is thanking ARMYs for their compassion and generosity.

In less than a week, BTS‘s Golden Maknae will celebrate his birthday on September 1. In honor of the big day, several Jungkook fanbases have organized charity projects to help children and teens in Busan.

Jungkook Supporters (@supporter_jk) and The Golden Union (@TheGoldenUnion) donated 7,000,000 KRW and 1,000,000 KRW in Jungkook’s name. Their donations, which total approximately $6,600 USD, will help 70 local youths in need and disabled children who attend the Buk-Gu Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled.

The Buk-gu office praised both BTS and their fans for their contributions.

We express our deep appreciation for the beautiful donation [ARMY has made] through their mature fandom culture, along with BTS who are role models for teenagers who spread a message of hope.
