Kwon Yul’s agency, on the other hand, said that it was “difficult to confirm” specific details about his wife’s identity. They also re-emphasized that his wife was a non-celebrity, and hence, it would be unethical to provide any further information about her to the public.

The response has sparked divided reactions from netizens. Some felt that the two parties being secretive about Kwon’s wife’s identity only confirmed the speculation, while others showed caution, urging people to show respect for the woman’s privacy.

Meanwhile, Kwon Yul debuted in 2007 with a lead role in the SBS sitcom, Mackarel Run. He is best known for his roles in popular K-Dramas such as Let’s Eat 2, Dali & Cocky Prince, and My Sweet Mobster.
