K-Drama Actress Personally Addresses Her Dating Rumor With Co-star For The First Time
Actress Kim Yoo Jung has spoken up about the rumors claiming she and her co-star Kim Do Hoon were dating each other.

On October 30, KST, Kim attended a press conference for her upcoming TVING K-Drama, Dear X. During the team’s conversation with the press, she decided to address the dating rumors that surfaced in September this year. She and her co-actor Kim Do Hyun were clicked together at a Vietnam airport, without any of the other castmates around. This led to the speculation that the two had privately traveled to the country after wrapping up their shoot.

Kim yoo Jung’s agency was swift to deny the rumors, explaining that the entire team of Dear X had traveled to Vietnam for a trip. However, the rumors were reignited over a later Instagram post.

Instead of yet another statement from her label, the actress decided to address the speculations directly during the press conference. Recalling the first time the rumors surfaced, Kim mentioned that she almost immediately called up Kim Do Hyun, and the two were left in stitches talking about it.

(Immediately after the dating rumors were reported) I spoke with Kim Do Hoon almost right away. That was after we had finished the Busan International Film Festival schedule for ‘Dear X’ and everyone had just dispersed. As soon as we talked on the phone, we both laughed for about three minutes straight.

She even joked about the situation with director Lee Eun Bok, hoping that the attention they were receiving would eventually go to the drama. Lee chimed in, joking, “I’m willing to provide more photos (of the two of them). I’ve secured about 100 photos that were taken at that time.”
Lee Yeol Eum, Kim’s co-star in this project, also added that the dating rumors took her aback and she couldn’t react any other way but laugh at it.
Kim Yoo Jung noted that she took it as a positive thing, since the rumors meant more eyes would be on Dear X. The K-Drama will premiere on November 6, at 6 PM KST on TVING.
