K-Drama Actress Reveals Why She Chose To Do A Racy Lingerie Photoshoot

Actress Choi Yeo Jin has spoken out directly about the attention surrounding her bold photoshoots and revealing red-carpet dresses.

In a YouTube show by Tak Jae Hoon, Choi Yeo Jin explained the background behind her much-talked-about underwear photoshoot and her choices of revealing outfits.

When asked about the controversial lingerie photoshoot, the MC asked if she had truly chosen to do it because she was proud of her body but had “no man to show it to.” Choi confirmed it.

“Yes, that’s true. I worked so hard on managing my body and working out, but the thought that no one was seeing the results suddenly made me angry. After putting in all that effort, it felt wasteful not to leave a record of it. Underwear shoots can feel a bit uncomfortable, but I wanted to capture it while I had the chance.”

The broadcast also showed her swimsuit and lingerie pictorials.

She also clarified the criticism that she was “addicted to exposure” because of the revealing dresses she wore at award ceremonies.

“If I dress normally, I actually don’t look as good. I felt those dresses were the best way to express who ‘Choi Yeo Jin’ is. They were bold, but I wanted to express myself in my own way.”

Choi married a sports businessman seven years her senior in June of last year.
