The world of Korean entertainment has spread across the world, with people falling in love with both K-Pop and K-Dramas.
Recently, one of the most popular K-Dramas has to be Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Since it started airing, netizens worldwide have fallen in love with Park Eun Bin, who plays Woo Young Woo, and Kang Tae Oh, who plays her love interest Lee Jun Ho.
If Extraordinary Attorney Woo is one of the hottest K-Dramas right now, one group that has always been worldwide famous is BTS. Since debuting, the group has always gained attention for their amazing music, visuals, and charm… similar to Kang Tae Oh.
Well, it seems as if the worlds might have collided after netizens noticed that there might have been a small BTS reference in one of the episodes.
BTS has made it clear that they’re true Extraordinary Attorney Woo fans, with RM and Jimin doing the adorable greeting seen between Woo Young Woo and her friend Dong Geu Rami.
Well, it seems like Kang Tae Oh might be a fan of BTS after replicating an iconic move from none other than BTS’s V.
Although V has many iconic moves, one that ARMYs worldwide love is the meme often referred to as “TATA Mic.” It is a reference to the time V attempted to “trick” the staff into giving him a Baby TATA (V’s BT21 character) Bluetooth microphone during BTS’s 2021 FESTA.
Throughout the years, V and the other members of BTS have recreated the meme, and it has often sent the internet into meltdown.
As Extraordinary Attorney Woo comes to an end, one eagle-eyed netizen noticed that Kang Tae Oh perfectly replicated the “TATA” meme during one of the episodes.
During one of the episodes, Kang Tae Oh and Park Eun Bin are starting to show the progression in the relationship of the characters. After revealing their affection for each other, they start looking at the details of being in a relationship.
User @randomvante noticed that one moment during that episode saw Kang Tae Oh doing the TATA Mic Face. Although it was easy to miss, when the user put a clip from the K-Drama and one of BTS’s V next to each other, it was impossible not to see the resemblance.
When the tweet was shared, it was liked over 25,000 times, with netizens loving the BTS x Kang Tae Oh crumbs that they saw during the episode. Many even had some epic reactions to the comparison, as both V and Kang Tae Oh are truly iconic.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed that Kang Tae Oh was influenced by BTS’s V, it won’t be the first time the K-Drama referenced K-Pop. In a recent episode, BLACKPINK made a cameo, and it sent netizens crazy.
