Katie Kim’s Label Edits CJamm And VASCO Out Of Debut M/V, May Delay Debut

AXIS made a statement regarding the current situation of Katie’s debut.

Katie‘s debut music video reportedly featured CJamm and VASCO, two rappers who were recently arrested for illegally smoking marijuana. Her label, AXIS, announced that they are currently trying to edit them out of her music video and will possibly have to re-film some parts. They also added that depending on how the editing unfolds, Katie’s debut date may have to be adjusted.

“CJamm and VASCO featured on Katie’s music video. They appear quite a lot on the music video, so we are editing them out. We may have to re-film some parts. In the worst case scenario, we may have to change her debut date.”

Katie was originally set to drop her debut single on June 6, followed by another single on August 8 and her first full-album on October 10. She was originally signed to YG Entertainment after placing 1st on K-Pop Star Season 4. After 3 years of training and producing possible debut music with YG, she decided to join hands with AXIS – a startup producing company created by YG’s former creative director, SINXITY.
