Recently, KATSEYE‘s Yoonchan‘s outfits became a topic of discussion.
Since their debut, KATSEYE fans have shown concern about any possible sexualization of Yoonchae due to her being a minor. These concerns rose again after their recent version of “Gabriela” was released, featuring the group dressed as different versions of Mariah Carey.
Yoonchae wore the iconic skintight body suit as well as an outfit featuring shorts and a tank top, which sparked criticism towards the group’s agency.

Another post, now viral with over five million views, expressed shock over their actual ages, which range from 23 to 19, when excluding 17-year-old Yoonchae.

Many weighed in on the group’s age vs their concepts, remarking on how they would have never expected the members to be the ages they actually are. Specifically, many were surprised by Lara and Megan still being teenagers.
