KATSEYE Yoonchae‘s outfit in a recent video has come under major scrutiny.

Since debuting, netizens have sparked major concerns about Yoonchae’s styling as a minor, especially with the choreography, and more so since the release of the track “Gabriella.”

To celebrate Halloween, KATSEYE released a special video for “Gabriella” based on different incarnations of Mariah Carey, linked to the interview at the VMAs.

Yoonchae channeled her inner “Christmas” with a tight red bodysuit.

Later on, Yoonchae was wearing the same outfit as the rest of the members which was a rainbow top and shorts.

After the video was posted, a netizen shared a post on Reddit about the oversexualization of the group, particularly pointing out Yoonchae’s styling in both the bodysuit and shorts.

The video they dropped today was ridiculous. Once again Yoonchae’s in a skin tight suit posing sexually, once agian all of the members are wearing short shorts (including Yoonchae) and once agian it feels like hybe doesnt trust that KATSEYE can have a organic fanbase because of their music and instead result to thowing there ‘sexyness’ at the audience, like how a parent jingles keys infront of a baby to keep out attention.

Netizens shared their agreement that someone was calling them out, explaining that just because Yoonchae is nearly 18, it shouldn’t mean the company immediately wants to start having her wear more revealing outfits.
