Singer Kim Jong Kook has been confirmed to be the MC for the upcoming 29th Golden Disk Awards, which is set to air in January.
The 29th Golden Disk Awards will be held at the Master Card Center in Beijing, China over a period of two days.
Kim Jong Kook will be MCing the January 14th festivities alongside Kim Sung Woo and miss A’s Fei, while the January 15th celebration will be MCed by Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Jun Hyun Moo, and Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany.
The award show is said to have chosen its MCs, taking into account their popularity in China, as well as their language skills.
Appearing as part of the regular cast of Running Man, Kim Jong Kook has formed a solid fan base in China.
Meanwhile, the 29th Golden Disk Awards will be broadcast live via China’s largest broadcast channel IQIYI and Korea’s JTBC. You can find a list of all the Golden Disk Awards nominees here.
