Kim Seon Ho Seemingly Unaffected By Recent Tax Evasion Scandal

Actor Kim Seon Ho showed continued ticket power despite his tax evasion controversy.

According to Ticketlink, the Kim Seon Ho performances quickly sold out immediately after the third round of ticket sales for theatrical play Secret Passage. This marked sold-out performances in the first, second, and third rounds.

The play Secret Passage depicts two characters who, having lost their memories in an unfamiliar space, confront the boundaries between life and death through a book containing entangled memories. The story explores the relationships, death, and the meaning of repeated life found in this space. Kim Seon Ho plays the role of Dong Jae.

Kim Seon Ho was embroiled in allegations of tax evasion related to the establishment of a one-person corporation and its settlement structure. There were also allegations that the corporation was registered at his Yongsan home address in Seoul, with family members listed as executives who received salaries, and that corporate cards were used for personal expenses.

Kim Seon Ho’s side explained, “Although there were past settlements with a former agency, the corporation is no longer operating, and the administrative closure process is in its final stages.
