Kim Soo Hyun’s Celebrity Father Reveals The Personal Reason Behind His Mask Donations
Actor Kim Soo Hyun‘s father, Kim Chung Hoon, who is a Korean singer, shared the personal reason behind his mask donation during the coronavirus pandemic.
Kim Chung Hoon recently made an appearance on KBS‘s AM Plaza where announcer, Lee Jung Min revealed news of his recent donation.
Kim Chung Hoon donated 5000 masks for his neighbors who are struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.

It’s not much, but I did my best to somehow contribute to overcoming COVID-19.

He also revealed the personal reason behind what got him to donate masks.
Both of my parents passed away. When I see elders wearing the same mask for a very long time, I feel bad and it reminds me of my parents. That’s what got me to start donating.

Kim Chung Hoon went on to add,
I feel proud. I know it’s nothing compared to those who are volunteering, but I’m doing my best.

Ahead of this, it was revealed that Kim Chung Hoon’s actor son, Kim Soo Hyun also donated (~$85,000 USD) to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The generosity of both father and son is receiving praise from both fans and netizens.
