Kim Soo Hyun Confirms Comeback With Korean Remake Of BBC Drama “Criminal Justice”

Kim Soo Hyun is back.

Kim Soo Hyun has announced he will be making his drama return following It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, choosing a criminal justice drama called That Night.

According to a press release made by his agency, Gold Medalist, he will be taking a lead role in That Night, showing a different character and acting spectrum compared to It’s Okay To Not Be Okay. That Night is a drama that explores the criminal justice system from the public’s point of view, following the story of two men and their murder case. The drama is a remake of BBC’s series, aptly titled Criminal Justice.

Kim Soo Hyun will play the role of Kim Hyun Soo, a diligent but ordinary college student who becomes a suspect in a murder case overnight due to a mistake. He becomes a person who will use evil to survive in a selfish world.

Cha Seung Won will also be joining the main cast of the drama. The drama is co-produced by Chorokbaem Media, The Studio M, GOLDMEDALIST. Chorokbaem Media is known for their dramas including The Fiery Priest, Punch, Whisper, and Backstreet Rookie. The drama will be written by Kwon Soon Gyu, who wrote Warrior Baek Dong-soo and The Royal Gambler. That Night will air in the latter half of 2021.
