Recently, new developments in the allegations made against Kim Soo Hyun.

On May 21, the application for the arrest warrant submitted by the Seoul Gangnam Police Station stated that Garosero Institute‘s Kim Se Ui spread false information about actor Kim Soo Hyun in relation to actress Kim Sae Ron for financial gain, including YouTube earnings.

According to JoongAng Ilbo, reports claimed that Kim Soo Hyun did not date the actress when she was a minor, and that text message evidence had been fabricated. Netizens reacted negatively and with disbelief, still promising to boycott future projects.

In light of the case resurfacing, criticism of Kim Soo Hyun has brought to light his other “inappropriate” interactions with young stars.

In the 2012 drama The Moon That Embraces the Sun, Kim Soo Hyun starred alongside Han Ga In and Kim Yoo Jung, who was 13 at the time. He spoke about Kim Yoo Jung at the time, describing her in a way that left many uncomfortable in light of the recent controversy.

In addition to saying that watching her in another series felt like “my younger brother had stolen my girl,” he also called her a ” real fox” when it came to acting.

Kim Soo Hyun also made a “love call” to Son Yeon Jae, a 16-year-old national athlete when he was 23, saying he’d like to get a meal with her. The actor also was criticized for making uncomfortable comments to a then 17-year-old Kevin Woo.
