Korean Actor Shockingly Retires To Marry At Age Of 34
A Korean actor has announced through his Instagram account that he will be retiring from his acting career to marry his girlfriend.

On the 1st, 34-year-old actor Cho Yoon Woo posted on his Instagram, “After long deliberation, I have found a precious person to be with for life, and to pursue our simple daily life together, I have decided to step away from my 15-year acting career.”
He added, “Debuting at 21 and spending 15 years solely focused on my career as an actor has been truly valuable. After careful and lengthy consideration, I am only now sharing this. From now on, I want to enjoy my remaining life with someone I want to protect forever for the first time in my life.”
He also asked, “Please kindly watch over the life I share with my precious lover and closest friend, with whom I have been together for over four years.”
Cho Yoon Woo debuted in 2011 with the tvN drama Flower Boy Ramen Shop. Notably, in 2013, he left a strong impression playing a school bullying victim tormented by Kim Woo Bin in writer Kim Eun Sook‘s The Heirs. He starred in the 2017 series Band of Sisters. He enlisted for military service in June 2018 and was discharged in February 2020. His most recent work was a special appearance in the 2023 ENA drama Not Others.
