A Koream actress uploaded what looked to be daily photos and videos of her life on her Instagram account, but ended up getting caught breaking the law.
On the 27th, Cha Joo Young posted multiple photos and videos on her Instagram along with a heart emoji.
In the photos and videos, Cha Joo Young was seen enjoying omakase sushi with alcohol.
Although she did not drive after the meal, she was shown sitting in the back seat of the car without wearing a seatbelt while being transported.
According to South Korean road traffic regulations, including Seoul, it is mandatory to wear seatbelts in the rear seats of vehicles throughout the country. This rule has been fully enforced on all roads since September 28, 2018.
Cha Joo Young’s violation of this law has sparked controversy. If this law is broken, the driver is subject to a fine. An adult passenger not wearing a seatbelt incurs a fine of ₩30,000 KRW (about $20.10 USD).
