Korean Celebrity Athlete Names His Son After ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo For A Special Reason

ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo recently got the chance to meet a baby named after him. The baby belongs to fencing athlete Kim Jun Ho. During Cha Eunwoo’s filming for Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet, Kim went to show his support for the star.

Kim confessed that his wife had made the suggestion to name their son after Cha Eunwoo. Kim’s wife is an air stewardess who once had the good fortune to meet Cha Eunwoo aboard a flight. She had nothing but praises for the star! Cha Eunwoo’s good manners left a huge impression on her, and she suggested naming their son after Cha Eunwoo in hopes that their son would grow up kindly as well.

KJH: My wife is a flight attendant, & she was on the same plane with you once.
She praised you so much after that, she said you’re so polite. That’s why when she had a baby, she asked him to be named “Eunwoo”. She was influenced by you.

Through the variety show Superman Returns, Cha Eunwoo was also able to meet up with little Kim Eun Woo! He already knew about the existence of the child thanks to his staff and fans. He got to spend a nice time playing with the baby.
