A viral video, with over 1.3M views and counting, has Korea disturbed beyond words.

Shared via an Instagram account @jukgosimnya_go, the video captured a Korean man looking suspicious around an AUDI vehicle.

After checking his surroundings, the man then places himself on top of the hood.

…and starts rubbing himself all over it, trying to “have sex” with the vehicle.

At one point, the man hops off the hood and proceeds to mate(?) with the AUDI’s front fender.

The internet went wild over the video, with Korean media outlets like News1 also reporting on his odd behavior—all the while defining “mechanophilia” (or mechaphilia), which is a paraphilia involving sexual attraction to machines like cars.

Back in 2015, a man in Thailand was caught on CCTV having sex with a Porsche. | Liveleak

It has not been confirmed whether the man in the video is indeed mechanophilic. Regardless, Koreans are expressing sheer shock and disgust at the man’s behavior. Some also guessed if the man might actually be a teenager and/or unwell (though nothing has been confirmed).

  • “Literally a slave to his dick. WTF?”
  • “Don’t do what isn’t yours.”
  • “Yo… I don’t think this is within the scope of what I can accept as personal preference. Like, dude. Get a car and bang it in your own garage. Don’t be doing this outside in public.”
  • “LMAO. Sigh…”
  • “…?!”
  • “HAHA. This is so disgusting that I’m too flabbergasted to even react. All I can do is laugh.”
  • “Lmao. I wonder why cars, though.”
  • “This is that movie, Titane, IRL, bahahaha. It’s fine, I guess… It’s not like he’s breaking a law rubbing up against a car. It’d be best if he could do it in private, though.”
  • “Is this happening in Korea?! F*cking shocked.”
  • “What the f*ck is he doing, banging someone else’s car?

In the comments section of the Instagram post, another account, @jaeahs, alleged that he is the son of the owner of the AUDI vehicle. He shared that neither he nor his father knows the man in the video.

I did show the video to my father… He didn’t know how to react but by laughing.

What is this, some sort of a new car washing technique? Turns out he isn’t even the owner of this car. LOL. #AmazingKorea
