TWICE is the top girl group in Korea right now, but they’re also also being praised for being outstanding citizens as well.

Despite TWICE’s busy schedule, every single Korean member made sure to vote during Korea’s 7th general elections on June 13th.
Just one day after coming back to Korea from two concerts and a hi-touch event in Japan, the girls made sure to exercise their democratic rights by voting in their local elections.
Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung are all Korean citizens. After turning 20 (Korean age) in April, Chaeyoung finally became eligible to vote!
Each and every member also shared photos of their stamped hands, and encouraged their fans to vote as well. With five posts about the election, ONCEs were sure to have noticed!
Both fans and media outlets praised the girls for using their popularity and reach on social media to raise awareness about the election and the importance of voting.
