Korean Remake Of Chinese Hit Drama “A Love So Beautiful” Confirms Main Cast

The main cast for the Korean remake of A Love So Beautiful has been confirmed to include WEi‘s Kim Yohan, Seo Joo Yeon, and Yeo Hoe Hyun.

Kakao M, the production team behind the remake, confirmed WEi’s Kim Yohan, Seo Joo Yeon, and Yeo Hoe Hyun will be the leading trio for A Love So Beautiful. The drama is about a first love story between a girl who holds a 17 year long crush on her neighbor.

Kakao M revealed that the drama will air digitally, not through television, and will be designed for optimization on mobile viewing platforms. There will be 24 episodes of the remake drama, and each episode will be about 20 minutes long. It is planned to be released on KakaoTalk’s new video platform by the end of 2020.

Kim Yohan will play the role of Cha Heon, a 17 year old perfect student who has a handsome face and is also a genius at Cheonji High School. He is cold-hearted and expressionless, but holds a warm heart.

Seo Joo Yeon will play the role of Shin Solyi, a 17 year old girl who has had a crush on Cha Heon for all 17 years of her life. She is very outspoken and considered a very straightforward girl, as shown by her constant confessions to Cha Heon. She is a character who spreads her positive energy to those around her, even though she is quite clumsy.

Yeo Hoe Hyun will play the role of Woo Dae Sung, a student who is in love with Shin Solyi. Woo Dae Sung is an excellent swimmer who has won various competitions ever since he was young. After transferring to Cheonji High School, he develops a crush on Shin Solyi. He is an innocent student who doesn’t show his feelings, and silently stays by Shin Solyi to protect her.
