According to YTN‘s updated report, a police official stated, “It is presumed that Na Dong Hyun died from an underlying illness,” adding, “We plan to confirm the exact cause of death through an autopsy.”
YouTuber Na Dong Hyun, known by his channel name The Great Library (or Daedoseogwan/Daedo) and his appearance on the Netflix show The Influencer, has passed away at the age of 46.

Harold Corp reported that, according to the Seoul Gwangjin Police Station, the YouTuber was found dead at his home in Gwangjin District at around 8:40 AM on September 6, 2025 (KST). Emergency responders and police discovered him after receiving a report from an acquaintance who was supposed to meet him. When the YouTuber did not show up and was unreachable, the acquaintance called the police. No suicide note or signs of foul play were found at the scene.
The Great Library was one of the most successful first-generation internet streamers, with a solid YouTube following of 1.44M subscribers. He was last seen attending the 2026 S/S Seoul Fashion Week show held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) on September 4.
