Koreans Demand Popular Actor Be Legally Banned From Acting

Even international netizens chimed in.

Netflix’s casting decisions for the highly anticipated K-Drama Solo Leveling have not made Korean viewers happy.

The live-action adaptation has sparked massive excitement among netizens, but the casting announcement has done the complete opposite.

Solo Leveling will star Byeon Woo Seok alongside Han So Hee, Kang Yoo Seok, and Kang Mi Na. While the cast in general has been met with negative reactions, Byeon Woo Seok has sparked the most heat.

His recent performance in Perfect Crown  has massively disappointed and even sparked scathing calls for a law to ban him from acting altogether.

There should be a law banning Byun Woo Seok from acting.

Some are pointing out the irony of surrounding him with strong, seasoned actors when he’s known for his blank, expressionless delivery. Even international netizens chimed in.

Others claim that Byeon Woo Seok himself needs to start turning down projects.

There really seems to be a shortage of male actors these days. They just keep cycling through Byun Woo Seok, Moon Sang Min, Kim Jae Won, and Lee Chae Min.
