“KPop Demon Hunters” OST “Golden” Nominated For Best Original Song At “The Golden Globes”

The OST “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters, created by The Black Label‘s producers, is vying for a Golden Globe award.

On the 8th (local time), the Golden Globe Committee announced the nominees for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, including “Golden,” the OST from the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters.

“Golden” serves as the main theme for the highlight scene where the fictional girl group HUNTR/X achieves their goal. Alongside the film’s global success, the song has dominated domestic and international music charts, captivating listeners worldwide. Notably, it held the No. 1 spot on Billboard‘s main chart, the Hot 100, for an unprecedented eight weeks as an OST.

Composed and arranged by a producer team led by Teddy, head of The Black Label, along with IDO and 24, who have driven the K-pop wave, “Golden” further elevated K-pop’s status. The Black Label producers also produced other OSTs for KPop Demon Hunters, including “How It’s Done,” “Soda Pop,” and “Your Idol,” driving the film’s success and contributing to the global leap of K-content beyond K-pop.

All eyes are on whether “Golden,” nominated for Best Original Song – Motion Picture, at the Golden Globes ceremony on January 11, 2026, will become the proud winner.
