With so many cute and bubbly aspects to their music and career, you’d think that fans would struggle to find something about NewJeans to feel wary of. However, based on a recent Reddit post, this isn’t quite the case!

The group’s first album, New Jeans, featured a cartoon bunny mascot that is now recognized as part of their brand. The fandom name for the group was even announced as “Bunnies” recently.

Even more recently, further promotions for the group have been shared that continue to include bunny imagery, so it doesn’t appear to be something that will change anytime soon!

According to comments on the Reddit post titled “Is anyone else disturbed by the NewJeans bunny?”, however, there are multiple fans that can’t quite shake the feeling that something is off with the rabbit.

Several people responded to the post sharing their agreement with the author’s opinion!

There just seems to be something unnerving about the bunny that fans can’t put their finger on, but seem to pretty unanimously agree on!

There were a few people in disagreement with the opinion and find the mascot cute… But there are far fewer comments in that camp!

What do you think? Is the possibly-arson-committing bunny cute or sinister? 😂
