Actress Koo Hye Sun has shared an update on her weight loss progress.

Recently, she posted on social media, “hit the 46kg range,” along with a photo. The image showed a scale reading 46.78kg (103 lbs). She had previously revealed that she was aiming to lose around 13kg (29 lbs).

Koo Hye Sun explained that she has been maintaining consistent lifestyle habits for her diet, including getting enough sleep, avoiding alcohol, and following a low-sodium diet. Rather than relying on extreme restrictions, she has focused on sustainable habits that can be practiced in daily life.

Among these, quality sleep is often highlighted as an important factor in weight management. Generally, lack of sleep can increase the secretion of hormones that stimulate appetite while decreasing those that promote fullness, which may lead to overeating. On the other hand, maintaining a regular sleep pattern helps stabilize the body’s rhythm and can have a positive effect on weight control.

Avoiding alcohol is also considered beneficial for weight loss. Alcohol is relatively high in calories and is metabolized first in the body, which can interfere with fat burning.
